Can I still call you friend,
After all I put you through?
Or I should not pretend
And face the ugly truth? -

It was just no one’s fault
That our friendship died.
The hands of Fate controlled
The feelings kept inside.

The hell with this blind Fate!
I think you just have changed
So much that it’s too late
For things to rearrange.

I cannot ask from you
To be my pal again
But I can beg you to
Not let it all just end.

So, please, just think it through -
