You’re gone again
I wouldn’t dare to wonder when you will be back
I’ve been counting the hours now just like a maniac
But they don’t seem to be making you closer to me
Time is unfaithful to your belief in its constancy
I wonder whether to laugh or to cry
After all, it’s feelings we always deny
When we can, we bury them under a face of stone
And we fight them again once we are alone
And it’s now pointless to laugh and to cry or whatever
It’s only silence here and that’s why it doesn’t matter
